If you haven't been following the story, basically Da'Rick caused a big fuss by decommitting from UGA and signing with Tennessee late in the recruiting process. Bacarri, who will be a starting safety for UGA, decided to call him out on Facebook and the two have been going at it since:
It started with a Facebook status update by Rambo, who wrote:
“Bacarri Rambo thinks [it] is messed up how all of UGA high school commitments back out on us but I’m telling you now when I catch you on the field I’m going to knock fire from you.”
Rogers responded Saturday on Twitter:
“Who is Bacarri Rambo?”
Then from Rambo on Twitter:
“Tell Darick ‘pretty boy’ Rogers he doesn’t have to know me but I bet he will feel me!! Lol”
Then from Rogers:
“don’t worry about me ha … that’s your choice … last time i checked a big hit =’s you getting knocked out.”
Rambo:
“I compete against the best receiver in the nation everyday at practice. Why should i worry about that guy.”
I'm giving Da'Rick the win for the "last time i checked a big hit ='s you getting knocked out" comment; he's referring to this hit last season. Going to be fun watching the two on the field.
And just when you thought you can breathe a final sigh of relief, this comes out:
"According to Henderson’s father, Sean, he will wait until U.S.C. appears before an N.C.A.A. infractions committee from Feb. 19-21 to hear about possible sanctions for the program before deciding whether to sign the letter. Though the Trojans are not likely to hear about any possible sanctions at that time, Sean Henderson said the hearing would give the family a sense of where the process was headed."
If true, the coaching staff had to have known this before NSD. I just find it hard to believe that Seantrel & Dad would pull a knee-jerk decision of this magnitude. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this was an agreement made beforehand.
As mentioned above, the NCAA meeting will occur on Feb. 19-21. Guess we'll have to endure another 3 weeks of insanity.
Antwuan has been a silent commit for some time; he decided to go public with his verbal today. Woods will be one of the top rated defensive tackles in next year's class.
