As I mentioned earlier this week, I'm going against the grain and predicting a 10+ point victory for the 2nd week in a row. It seems like everyone is picking Oregon to win this game, but I think SC matches up well. Our defense is disciplined enough to prevent the game from being a shoot-out, which is key because Oregon's defense isn't going to win the game for them. The Ducks need to score 35+ points to come out with a victory and a bulk of those points have to come through the air because our defense will be keyed in on stopping the run. Do you see Dixon, who isn't very accurate and has only one true starting receiver to throw to, burning our secondary for 21+ points? I wouldn't bet on it. The game will probably be tight for about 2.5 to 3 quarters, but assuming we don't commit any crucial turnovers, I think SC pulls away late and wins comfortably.
