Crazy how things work out. At one point last season it looked like Emmanuel had emerged from the pack of freshmen to secure his spot up on the depth chart; all the while there was speculation as to when Stafon Johnson (the most highly touted of the freshmen backs) would inevitably transfer. An ankle injury and a off-season later, Emmanuel is the first to go and Stafon is quickly turning heads and rising up the depth chart.
