Short interview from the Pangos Camp held at the Galen Center Pavilion this past weekend. Demar seems pretty casual about his commitment. Usually when recruits are wavering (Demar is listed as a "soft verbal" on Scout.com), they're often reserved and cautious about what they say. At least to me, it looks like Demar is confident about his choice:
If you haven't seen the Galen Center Pavilion, there's your 1st look at it. I've walked around the courts and it's pretty awe-inspiring in person simply due to its sheer size. The courts have retractable walls that divide the courts for when, I assume, different sports need to practice at the same time. In terms of aesthetics, it's pretty plain, but I'm sure with increased revenues next year, they'll spruce it up a bit.
No sour grapes or anything, but the more I read/hear Brandon Jennings talk about his commitment to Arizona, the more I feel his departure from SC was due to differences between him and Coach Floyd in playing styles. I've mentioned this before in a previous post, but notice Brandon says, "I know Lute Olson is going to let me go in there and play my game" yet again. He then goes on to talk about him feeling unstoppable on the court. Brandon will be a phenomenal player at the next level, but his mentality (more so than his game) would have likely clashed with Coach Floyd's team/defensive philosophy.
